E-ticket with Sabīne Škapare’s drawing is ready

“Rīgas satiksme” informs that as of December 20 the e-ticket of new design decorated with the drawing made by Sabīne Škapare will be gradually introduced into the market. The new e-ticket is printed in 1,000,000 of copies, but it is expected that more tickets will be printed.

We remind that in May 2016 “Rīgas satiksme” organized a contest of drawings for a new design of the yellow e-ticket. 14 young athletes from youth and children basketball school „Rīga” participated in the contest of drawings “Riga trolleybus - 70”. The voting took place on website www.rigassatiksme.lv, and the drawing of Sabīne Škapare received the maximum number of votes (1664).

It is the seventh year of "Rīgas satiksme” receiving Riga children who make drawings on various themes. The drawings are used in e-ticket’s new design. During the contest of drawings, every visitor of the company’s website can vote for his/her favourable drawing, thus taking part in the process of creating the e-ticket’s design.

The new design of e-ticket does not affect its functions or usage in public transport. Passengers can buy yellow e-tickets with tickets for a certain number of trips, time tickets or group tickets.
